Individual Coaching

Warm, sensitive, confidential support during life's difficult times

The doors for life coaching are currently closed.

If you’d like to be the first to hear about the special things I’m cooking up for 2019 jump on my mailing list and I’ll keep you posted!

As many as one in five people will experience a mental health issue in any given year and almost half the population will experience mental illness in their lifetime.

And yet many of those people don’t ask for help.

As a clinical psychologist, I have worked with hundreds of people just like you, and helped them to overcome depression, anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment disorder, relationship and parenting struggles.

have a particular interest in helping women struggling with perinatal depression and anxiety, so if you are pregnant or a new mum who is having a hard time, don’t feel like you need to do it alone.

Cass Dunn is a psychologist and mindfulness and meditation teacher

I use evidence-based therapies

Including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

While treatment methods are tailored to the individual I have a preference for mindfulness and acceptance based therapies, which focus on helping people to live a full, rich and meaningful life as opposed to trying to ‘fix’ people or problems. Intuitively this approach makes more sense to me, and my personal and professional experience shows me that they work.

HOw much does it cost?

Clinical psychology sessions are 50-55 minutes and cost $200 per session.

Clients usually come to me with a referral from their GP as this means you are eligible for a substantial Medicare rebate but it isn’t necessary to have a referral. If you do have a GP (or psychiatrist) referral and a Mental Health Care Plan, you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $124.50 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
