Day Eight: Cultivating Calm

Today's meditation is a little longer than eight minutes for Day 8 but I know you can handle it.

It's a nice visualisation, which many people find easier to manage than a silent breathing meditation that requires you to sustain your attention on a single point of focus (more on our attention problems tomorrow!)

You might like to reflect on the kinds of things that cause the waves of your emotions to become choppy and ragged, and what kinds of activities help you to return to stillness, calm and clarity.

Going forward, how can you incorporate more of those calming spaces in your day?
